WT Saves Life

Robert didn't make it past the ninth grade. He was a sanitary management specialist. One night, while he was loading paper waste into the incinerator, he discovered a World Tribune.

When he got off work, he found the apartment from the address label. A woman answered the door. He said, "Ma'am, excuse me, but you can't throw this away. It has the Buddha's wisdom in it."

The woman burst into tears. He asked, "What's wrong?" She answered, "Will you chant with me?"

She showed him where she had the Gohonzon rolled up in a drawer, and they found the cardboard box that she used for a butsudan. Then they re-enshrined her Gohonzon.

Her hands trembled as she chanted together with Robert. They finished with three slow Daimoku. Her tears were transformed into a glowing smile

After he left, she flushed the barbiturates that she intended to kill herself with down the toilet.

The World Tribune saves lives.
